One of the most well known protest songs from the nineteen sixty's is" give peace a chance" by John Lennon. The message of "give peace a chance" is simple, its simply saying give peace a chance instead of war. If enough people choose peace instead of violence war wouldn't have to be the answer. So basically its protesting the use of war to solve problems like communism for insistence . A good way to protest war is to write a song about it and get the message out to a lot of people all at once

JFK

1.) I learned about his approach to the Cuban missile crisis, his family life before he became president and his position in the navy.

2.) I found that the Cuban missile crisis was the most interesting because i never learned about it. It was an interesting part of our country's history. The pictures and that video really got me thinking about what could have happened if things didn't go the way they did.

3.) I would have liked to seen more on the assassination and the different opinions on that topic from other people. Some hardcore facts on everything that went down on the day of the assassination

4.) I like JFK and i think hes been one of the better presidents in American history. I compare him to your modern day George Washington because he accomplished important things during this presidency

The butter battle

The yooks and the zooks went to the wall
But what they did not know is the wall will fall
The wall will fall because the bombs
Beacuse not only did the yooks have a bomb
The zooks had a bomb
And the yooks and the zooks were no more
The land of butterside up and butterside down was gone

Part 1and 2 of Simpsons

Part 1: The episode of the Simpsons illustrating Prohibition in the 1920's is a good example of something that isn't entirely accurate but has good information. The main concepts of prohibition like speakeasies, bootleggers and rum runners were the things the Simpson portrayed the most. Other things were just thrown in there for comedy like the bowling balls full of beer transported to underground network of pipes that leads to a bar. Overall i thought there was an equal balance of fact and fiction and i enjoyed the episode.

Part 2: If i had to change one thing in the episode i would have changed the secret identity of the speakeasy from a pet shop to something less obvious becuse in real life i think the would have a well thought out disguise
