Part 1and 2 of Simpsons

Part 1: The episode of the Simpsons illustrating Prohibition in the 1920's is a good example of something that isn't entirely accurate but has good information. The main concepts of prohibition like speakeasies, bootleggers and rum runners were the things the Simpson portrayed the most. Other things were just thrown in there for comedy like the bowling balls full of beer transported to underground network of pipes that leads to a bar. Overall i thought there was an equal balance of fact and fiction and i enjoyed the episode.

Part 2: If i had to change one thing in the episode i would have changed the secret identity of the speakeasy from a pet shop to something less obvious becuse in real life i think the would have a well thought out disguise
